8. Plastic Bottle Bird House

Plastic bottle crafts are excellent for recycling projects in schools and homes.

Materials needed include a large plastic bottle, scissors, paint, markers, glue, and string.

Start by cutting a round entrance hole in the bottle. Make sure the edges are smooth so birds are not hurt.

Children can paint the outside of the bottle using acrylic paints. Transparent sections can also be left unpainted.

Kids may decorate the bottle with patterns, flowers, or bird drawings.

Add two holes near the top and attach a string for hanging.

You can also place a small stick below the entrance hole to create a perch for birds.
