5. Paper Cup Bird House
Paper cup bird houses are ideal for younger children because they are very simple and safe to make.
Materials include paper cups, colored paper, glue, markers, scissors, and string.
First, cut a circular entrance hole in the side of the paper cup. Then cut a small triangle from colored paper to make the roof.
Children can decorate the cup using markers, stickers, or paint. They can draw birds, flowers, trees, or other fun designs.
Glue the paper roof on top of the cup to create a house shape.
Next, punch two small holes at the top and attach a string for hanging.

Although paper cup bird houses may not last very long outdoors, they are perfect for art practice, classroom activities, and creative play.
This project helps children practice cutting, gluing, and decorating skills while learning about bird homes.
