9. Shoebox Bird House

A shoebox bird house is a larger craft project that allows children to build and decorate a more detailed house.

Materials include a shoebox, scissors, glue, colored paper, paint, markers, and craft decorations.

First, cut an entrance hole on one side of the box. The lid of the shoebox can be used as a slanted roof.

Children can paint the entire box and decorate it with paper windows, doors, and garden designs.

They may also add small paper trees, flowers, or fences around the house.

After decorating, punch holes in the roof and attach a strong string or wire for hanging.
