- DIY Wind Chimes
Wind chimes are beautiful and creative. Dollar Tree offers plastic cups, string, beads, and small bells.
Punch holes around the rim of a plastic cup. Cut strings and attach beads and bells to each string. Tie the strings evenly around the cup rim. You can also decorate the cup with paint or stickers.
Hang the wind chime outside in a breezy spot. Children will enjoy hearing the soft sounds when the wind blows. This project introduces basic crafting skills and teaches about sound and movement.
Wind chimes also make great handmade gifts and outdoor decorations.
