4. Log Style Bird House

Start by placing a fence post as the base. On top of the fence, place a stripped oak log vertically to represent the main body of the bird house.

Next place an oak slab on top as the roof. You can extend the roof slightly using stairs or additional slabs to give the structure more shape.
