2. Hanging Tree Bird House
A hanging tree bird house adds a natural and realistic touch to forest builds. Instead of placing the house on a pole, this design hangs from tree branches, making it look like it was built specifically for birds.
Begin by selecting a large tree with thick leaves and branches. Oak, spruce, or jungle trees work very well for this type of build. The bird house should hang slightly below the leaves so it is visible.
Materials required include spruce planks, spruce slabs, spruce fences, chains, and a dark oak button. The darker wood colors help the bird house blend nicely with forest environments.

First place a chain hanging down from the leaves of the tree. At the bottom of the chain, place a spruce plank block as the main base. Add another plank behind it to make the structure look deeper.
Use spruce slabs to create a small angled roof on top of the box. Place spruce trapdoors on the sides for decoration. Then add a dark oak button on the front to represent the bird entrance.
You can also add leaves around the bird house to make it feel hidden within the tree. Hanging bird houses look especially good when multiple designs are placed throughout a forest area.
